About Us
ST. ELIZABETH GIRLS SCHOOL, Mbarara was founded in 2017 by a group of teachers and friends. The school opened its gates to the girl child for all the Six classes, S.1 - S.6 to study both Sciences and Arts. The school is located in two Campuses: The Main Campus on Masaka Road and the A’Level Campus at the Northern By-pass in Kacence near Kyamugorani Church of Uganda. The Directors and founders of the School are Mr. Mugisha Charles, Mr. Nsasira Wilson Muheirwe, Mr. Mpeegih David, Mr. Begumisa Emmanuel, Mr. Karukucu Alex, Mr. Nuwagaba Edwin, Mr. Mukalazi Deus, and Ms. Nakkazi Sarah (Late).

Academics
The school has three UNEB centres: U3701 for O’level, U3119 for O and A’level at the main Campus. The first cohort of O’level students sat their exams in 2022.
Sports
The school has built a strong record in volleyball. The volleyball team has been Champions of Ankole Region and Mbarara City since 2019 to date. Most outstandingly, the team won the National trophy in 2022 and 2023 and was a finalist in 2024 and 2025. At the East African Level, the school has reached Semi-finals.
